DRAFT LOTTERY PICKS 1-13
The 13th pick of the 2003 NBA draft goes to the Memphis Grizzlies. I had hoped that Memphis would have gotten the number one pick so they could have gotten LeBron and been a very good team instead of a bad team. Instead the team that got the number one pick is the Cleveland Cavaliers. They will probably pick LeBron James who is coming out of high school into the NBA. The second pick went to the Detroit Pistons and they said they’ll pick the guy from Yugoslavia, I think – Darko. He’s a left handed player and he is 7 feet tall. He will play center for the Detroit Pistons and Ben Wallace will be moved to the power forward. The third pick went to the Denver Nuggets and they will probably pick Carmelo Anthony who was the MVP of the NCAA Final Four last season.
NETS WIN AGAIN!
The New Jersey Nets dominated Game 3 of the best of 7 series in the eastern conference finals. In the first quarter, Kenyon Martin was all over with 14 points and finished with 19. Jason Kidd was on a roll and had a playoff career high of 34 points. The Nets rallied and won 97-85. In one more game the Nets can move onto the NBA finals for the second straight season.
The Pistons must be feeling really bad because they’re probably going to lose this series on the road. Actually it might be better because if you lost it at home it would look more embarrassing in front of everybody that goes for your team. Next year the Pistons will probably do better if Darko can really play like they say he can.
The Nets will probably get this series no problem in Game 4. With Jason Kidd having a big playoff career high he’ll have some momentum going into Game 4.
LET’S GO NETS! WE’RE ABOUT TO WIN THIS SERIES AND GO TO THE NBA FINALS – AGAIN!
