ELTON BRAND INVOLVED IN NEW ABA TEAM IN WESTCHESTER!

Clippers star Elton Brand is financing an expansion team in the American Basketball Association (ABA). I love the investment he is making to bring basketball all across the country. The team has been named the Westcheaster Phantoms.

Elton’s mom Daisy Brand is also a part of the team as the team owner. Artie McGriff- the other owner of the team had this to say:

“Really, it’s me running things and her telling me what to do,” McGriff said with a laugh. “She thought it would be a good idea to own a basketball team and help some guys get to the next level. Elton put up the money, but we’ve still got to make it a business.”

I urge everyone in the Westchester area to come and support this and any other ABA team! Without the minors, American basketball wouldn’t be spoken as highly of throughout the world.
