Disclaimer: I’m no full on sneaker head, but every week we’re gettin our shoe on here! Each week I’ll pick a shoe that I like, basketball, or normal. Get your new leather smell ready!
Say what you want about LeBron, but he and Nike know how to make a shoe. These are hot. I expected a lot out of these anyway. Since LeBron’s contract with Nike is almost done, Nike needs to prove to him that they can produce a product up to his caliber.
The technology of these kicks is supposed to be cutting edge as well. Kix-files has all the details on the sole and the craftsmanship of the shoe (and a few more pictures).
My only question to Nike is this: $160, are you serious? I know they usually cost more than $100, but this is a little too far. With the economic times we’re in, I know that Nike will lose some customers because of the price tag. But, looking at it from Nike’s perspective, they’ll be fine. Even if the market isn’t as big as past LeBron shoe releases, the price tag alone will support their money put into this.
As a consumer, the price tag turns me off. I won’t be copping these because of that. Not until the price is somewhat reasonable. I can grab some very solid shoes for a price that makes sense. Not $160.
But, with all that said, I still admire the design and what sounds like great technology in these kicks. They will be good for the people that want to put down that kind of dough.
Your thoughts on these shoes?
Yea, 160$ are way too much for a single shoe, unless they are some retro Jordans.
