I think the Lakers are losing some valuable players this year like Samaki Walker, Robert Horry and Brian Shaw. But I think the Lakers will come out strong especially Kobe after he cried when they lost to the Spurs in Game 6. Shaq will be stronger but recently he did not show up for a meeting with Phil Jackson. He will take responsibility for it and come out strong in the 03-04 season.

Losing Robert Horry and Brian Shaw is a big thing. Lately Samaki Walker hasn’t done much so the Lakers should replace him easily but it’s hard to fill in a guy for Horry and Shaw. The Lakers might find good players like Karl Malone and Scottie Pippen to come onto their team which would help them with Shaq’s minutes and Pippen could help at the small forward or the point guard position. That would be a big help because Derek Fisher also has to play lots of minutes.

It’s been a hard season for the Los Angeles Lakers but there’s always another season so we’ll gain it back on our side. The ring will come back next year!
