It was a big Game 6. The Nets could not hold on and stop the Spurs from winning the championship. It was nice to see the Admiral go out with a championship but it was sad that the Nets had to lose. The Nets were leading in the early going but the Spurs came back fast and won 88-77. Kenyon Martin played better but the rest of the team couldn’t do enough. The Nets worked hard but not hard enough, I guess.

The Nets have gone to the finals two straight years and have lost to the Lakers and the Spurs. If they work harder maybe they can become champions. But I hope they don’t lose Jason Kidd when he becomes a free agent on July 1st. There’s been a rumor going around that he might go to the Spurs but I hope that doesn’t happen. I’d rather see him on a team like Boston, Memphis or he can stay at home with the Nets.
