FREE AGENTS AND TRADES!

Today free agents could be signed and trades could be made and there was lots of activity. Let’s start with free agents. Antonio Daniels got his deal done with the Wizards. This was a great move after losing Larry Hughes. The champion Spurs re sign Robert Horry and Fabricio Oberto. It’s good that the Spurs don’t have to look for a replacement to the big hole that would be there if he left. The Cavs signed Larry Hughes and Donyell Marshall. They also re signed Zydrunas Ilgauskas. The Cavs had a lot of money to spend so this might finally put them in the playoffs. The 76ers re signed Samuel Dalembert and Kyle Korver. The Sixers need them to survive as I predicted. The Knicks signed Jerome James. This was a good move but the Knicks need to get control over their money problems. The Hornets got Boston Nachbar back and signed Arvydas Macijauskas. The Rockets signed Stromile Swift. This was a very good move and Swift has a great future coming. The Heat re signed Shaq after he opted out of his old deal and signed a new contract for 5 years $100 million. They also re signed Udonis Haslem. This was, of course, going to happen. Pat Riley wouldn’t let this go on under his nose. The Celtics signed Brian Scalabrine. It was a good move by the Celts. Brian will be pretty good but he still needs time.

That’s all for free agents now to those hot fresh trades. The Kings got Jason Hart for a 2007 draft pick. This was a kinda good move because the Bobcats would be packed at point guard. The Bobcats got Jake Voskuhl for a 2007 draft pick. It was a good move for the Bobcats getting a new big man. The Lakers got Kwame Brown and Laron Profit for Caron Butler and Chucky Atckins. T his was not a very good move for the Lakers but they do need a big man. Last but not least Bonzi is a King and Bobby Jackson to the Grizz. One deal that was going to be done didn’t happen. The Suns sign and trade with the Hawks.

GOOD LUCK WITH NEW TEAMS!
