SPURS EVEN UP SERIES WITH NUGGETS!
The Spurs beat the Nuggets 97-88 to tie their series at one each. The key for the Spurs was the big three–Duncan, Parker and Ginobili–playing very well. The Nuggets got the lead down near the end of the game but it wasn’t enough; even so, I loved their effort.
Tim Duncan finished with 22 points and 7 boards. He has to establish an early rhythm in Denver so he can set the tone for the rest of the Spurs. Tony Parker also added 20 points and 6 dimes. Parker needs to work the ball inside and out, so the Spurs can have a diversified offensive attack in game three.
