NBA Talk: King Gets Fined $25K For Snubbish Attitude

LeBron James was fined $25K for his snubbish attitude when he left Game Six of the Eastern Conference Finals with congratulating anyone. Nobody fined the King but David Stern thought they should have.

But shouldn't Stern be more worried about this? Why does he have to worry about LeBron being a snub when he knows he did this to?

Ok, no more funny business but let's get to the real point. David Stern fined LeBron James for not talking to the media in the postgame conference in Game Six.

James admitted that he should have never done what he did in Game Six. He should have just congratulated the players on the Orlando Magic squad.

Here are some quotes from ESPN of what Stern said:

"He asked that I express to the media, the Magic and the fans his apology, and particularly the young fans, because he knows he has a responsibility to all of our fans, and that sportsmanship is appropriate whether you win or whether you lose," Stern said near the start of his annual NBA finals press conference.

"He understands why it was necessary for me to fine him $25,000 for missing the media availability."

"Certainly as it related to the media, we have a rule, you guys know that we've had some interesting issues over the years with some of our coaches and the like, and it was inappropriate for me to give someone a pass here," Stern said.

Well, Stern got his way.
