The Golden State Warriors made NBA history by beating the number 1 seeded Mavericks 111-86 to win the series. Golden State had to much offense for the Mavs to handle. Dirk was also very bad shooting the ball which helped the Warriors get confident and take control.

Stephen Jackson was huge with 33 points and 5 boards. Jackson was great from the three point line and that's how he scored. To win in the next round against the Rockets or Jazz he will need to continue that. Baron Davis had 20 points and 10 boards. Davis did all of that on a bad hamstring. I am concerned about his health for round 2 because the Warriors can't win without him.
