The Detroit Pistons beat the Magic 100-92 to take a 1-0 lead in the series. I think the Magic should be proud even with a loss. They proved they could stay close, but the game just slipped away in the final seconds.

Jameer Nelson showed great leadership and skills to get his team close near the end. He finished with 10 points but also did a lot of things that won't show up in the box score. Hedo Turkoglu hit a big jumper near the end of the game and showed that he can score the ball with 17 points.

Chauncey Billups, a great game with 22 points and 11 dimes. I expect the assist numbers for Chauncey to be high in this series because Richard Hamilton and the whole team are hitting shots.
