The Bobcats present Coach Bernie Bickerstaff will not return as coach next season but will continue as a full-time GM. Bernie did an okay job but I'm sure coaching an expansion team stressed him out. The team should be more active in the trade and free agent market now that he can devote twice as much time to his GM duties. MJ had this to say, "I don't see him distancing himself away," Jordan said. "I feel he's been an important part to getting this franchise to where it is now. It will give me the most pleasure to continue that process until we get to where we have to go." This quote came from the Associated Press. I wish Bernie luck and have confidence in him that he will build a successful franchise around Okafor and others.

Also, tonight the NCAA tournament kicks off with Niagara playing Florida A&M at 7:30 Eastern time on ESPN. These two teams have almost identical records so it should be a dog fight, but since I live in Floridia I am routing for Florida A&M!
