MAGLOIRE TO PORTLAND!
The Bucks and Blazers have agreed to trade Jamaal Magloire to Portland for Steve Blake, Brian Skinner and Ha Seung-Jin. This deal was just to get Jamal out. I don't think they cared much about what they got back. They get a nice young guard in Blake and some big guys who can give you some minutes.
NICE DEAL!
INTERVIEW WITH FELIX KRUPCZYNSKI,OWNER AND GENERAL MANAGER OF JACKSONVILLE JAM!

I recently did an interview with Felix and I hope all of my readers will go to http://www.jaxjam.com/ and enjoy the JAM Zone and support fan basketball!

1. How will the Jam compete with the other Florida teams?
The best way to compete is through performance! We'll just out work & out perform the other professional teams in our state, division, and in the ABA! That is flat out the best way to compete in anything you do! Performance allows our franchise to achieve the desired success that we are seeking and that will allow us to compete and become the Elite & Premiere Franchise/Team in our State and throughout ALL of the ABA! It also helps to have an experienced coach such as Coach T. Incidentally, Coach T was just named in an article as one of the top 10 Pro Coaches not in the NBA (
http://probasketballnews.com/ml_coaches.html )!

2. What system will Coach Tucker use?
The system that we use is based on basic fundamentals of playing the game of basketball. We work to do the little things whether it be offensively, defensively, fast-break, or in special situations. We break the game down and teach the game! Pro Basketball is no different than playing basketball on any other level of play. You have to execute the basics to be very good! You'll find that we'll play a fast-paced game and that we'll defend with relentless pressure. But we'll also play well together and we'll always play the game hard. Our style will be enjoyable for all to watch and people will leave our JAM HOME GAMES at the UNF Arena wanting to come back and see more of our Jacksonville Jam!!!

3. Will the team do any work in the community?
Being an integral part of the community is key to our success here in Jacksonville. We have already established great relationships with organizations such as the YMCA, Boys and Girls Club and Junior Achievement. We look to expand our presence through the community by being actively involved in charitable functions and community and civic events. I don’t know if you noticed, but we do have THE most innovative and unique MASCOT TEAM in all of professional Sports: The JAM Squad! The JAM Squad’s mission is to be an essential part of our community involvement. They’ve already appeared in several functions throughout the city and are planned to be at several functions throughout the community at events such as the Boys and Girls National Kids Day Celebration and are even the HOSTS of an MS Society Fund raising event in August.

4. If you played in the NBA what team would you like to be on?
Growing up as a kid I was a devout Knick fan and would have loved to play for them. Now I am a devout JAM fan and hope that we can bring the fun and excitement of great basketball and fun to all JAM fans worldwide to have them target the JAM as their team to be a part of!

5. Thanks you your time and if you anything else to say to our readers you can.
I want to thank you very much for your interest in our Jacksonville Jam Professional Basketball Organization! We are very excited about our franchise and the future of professional basketball in Jacksonville, FL and in all of Florida. We feel we will put an exciting product on court for all to enjoy and support during the upcoming ABA season and into the future. We want Jam Basketball to be known throughout the State of Florida, all over the USA, & Worldwide. Jacksonville Jam Basketball will be Fun & Exciting and we look forward to bringing Professional Basketball, JAM STYLE to fans in Jacksonville and Worldwide in the coming seasons and years...
GO JAM!!!

THANKS AGAIN FELIX!

JEFFERIES TO KNICKS? MAYBE!
Jared Jefferies has signed a 5 year, $30,247,000 offer sheet with the New York Knicks. This is still not over because the Washington Wizards can choose to match his offer or let him go. The Wiz should try to keep him, but I don't know if they should spend this much money on him.
7 DAYS WIZARDS, 7 DAYS TO MATCH THE OFFER!

ARIZA STAYING IN ORLANDO!
The Orlando Magic have re-signed Trevor Ariza to a 3 year deal worth about $8 million. I like this move. This keeps the Magic young core together. Ariza needs to get more playing time this season and I think he will be happy.
GO MAGIC!

MIKKI MOORE TO NETS FOR DRAFT PICK IN 09!
The Nets got big man Mikki Moore in a deal that gives the Sonics a second round draft pick in 2009. This deal is good. The Nets get another big man and the Sonics get more young talent to build on in the future.
GOOD DEAL!
HORNETS RE SIGN BUTLER!
The Hornets re-signed Rasual Butler to finish their extreme makeover. Butler will be a good role player to keep. The Hornets look great for next season.
GO HORNETS!

SALMONS TO KINGS!
John Salmons signed a multi year deal with the Kings. Looks like the Kings won't re-sign Bonzi Wells. Salmons is a good signing. The Kings are looking good for next season.

GO KINGS!

Monday, July 24, 2006

FRED JONES TO RAPTORS!
Fred Jones and the Toronto Raptors agreed to a 3 year deal worth about $11 million. I like this move. Jones adds athletics and more depth to the Raptors.
GO RAPTORS!

PACERS AGREE TO DEAL JOHNSON!
The Indiana Pacers and Dallas Mavericks agreed to trade Avery Johnson to Dallas for Darrell Armstrong, Josh Powell and Rawle Marshall. I love this move for both teams. Dallas gets another great guard and unloads their bench. The Pacers get some young players and a veteran backup in Armstorng. The deal won't be official until the NBA league office opens on Monday.
NICE DEAL!

STRONG DOG PRESS CONFERENCE ON WEDNESDAY!
The Tampa Bay Strong Dogs announced that they will have a press conference on Wednesday, July 26th, at the University of Tampa at 11:30am. They will announce the coach, ticket pricing and where they will play. You should show your support!! I will be there filming the first episode of my blog show Scoops and Hoops so expect full coverage.
I WILL BE THERE, WILL YOU?
SALMONS WON'T GO TO RAPTORS!
John Salmons has decided not to go the Toronto Raptors in a sign and trade after reviewing the team situation. This is to bad for the Raptors. He might stay in Phili now.
BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME RAPTORS!

Friday, July 21, 2006

HARRINGTON TO PACERS?
It's sounds like Al Harrington will go to the Pacers in a sign and trade with the Hawks. I don't know who is in this deal but the $7.5 million dollar trade exception from the Pacers will play a big part. The Hawks can get some cap space from this deal so it sounds good.
KEEP AN EYE ON THE BLOG WHEN THIS STORY BREAKS!

Thursday, July 20, 2006

SPURS WILL GET JACKIE BUTLER!
The Knicks will decline to match the offer Jackie Butler got from the Spurs of 3 years $7 million. The Spurs are trying to change the team a bit. They will need to revamp more, when Tim Duncan is gone. The Knicks finally didn't spend their money. I like this move for the Knicks also.
GO SPURS!

Wednesday, July 19, 2006

BANKS TO SUNS!
The Suns and Marcus Banks agreed to a five year, $21 million dollar deal. I love this move. Banks is a speed player who fits the Suns game plan.
GO SUNS!

Tuesday, July 18, 2006

COOK HAS SURGERY!
Brian Cook of the Lakers had surgery on his right thumb. He will be back for traning camp on the good side. This will hurt his stroke at the start of the season. He will get it back though.
GET BETTER COOK!
SONICS BOUGHT!
The Seattle Sonics and Storm were bought by an Oklahoma City buisness group. I think this is a good move. I say move the Sonics to Oklahoma! But if they could get a new arena, it may work in Seattle.
GO SONICS!

Monday, July 17, 2006

SONGAILA TO WIZARDS!
Darius Songaila signed a 5 year, $23 million dollar deal with the Washington Wizards. This move will help the Wizards. The bench is built with key role players and Songaila adds to that lucrative list.
GO WIZARDS!
IMPERIALS LOSE NAIL BITER TO BLUE DUCKS!
The Palm Beach Imperials lost to the Brevard Blue Ducks 98-95. The Blue Ducks were lead by 40 points from Darrell Williams. The Imperials did lose this game but still look like a great team.

"Williams single-handedly carried us the last time we played," Ducks' coach Brian Rowsom said. "He was unbelievable." Brevard opened the season winning five of its first seven game, with both losses coming at the hands of Palm Beach. Palm Beach Coach and GM Lamar Carr has his exciting new team playing with a loose, relaxed philosophy that has worked thus far. "I tell them to go out and play, have a good time and relax," said Carr. "It's a fun game. Fan-friendly basketball is long overdue (in Palm Beach County) and it's been a great ride so far."

For more information on the Imperials visit www.palmbeachimperials.com and you can find this site on my link list soon.
GO PALM BEACH!
GRIFFIN TO BULLS!
The Chicago Bulls and Adrian Griffin agreed to three year deal that has not been signed yet. This is what the Bulls are going to do to sign Griffin. They will trade the newest member of the team J.R. Smith to the Nuggets for Howard Eisley and two second round picks. The Bulls will then waive Eisley.
GO BULLS!

Sunday, July 16, 2006

ZO TO STAY IN MIAMI!
Alonzo Morning says he wil re-sign with the Miami Heat. I am not surprised Zo is going to stay. It's not about money to him, it's about getting rings.
GO HEAT!

Saturday, July 15, 2006

KOBE HAS KNEE SURGERY! Kobe Bryant had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee and will not play for the USA team this Summer. This might slow him down but he will be ready come season time. GET BETTER KOBE!
CHANDLER DEAL DONE! The trade that sent Tyson Chandler to the Hornets for P.J. Brown and J.R. Smith was completed. The Bulls are so brilliant. The Hornets improved with the Peja sign and trade. GO BULLS!
MURRAY TO PISTONS! Ronald "Flip" Murray and the Pistons have agreed to a two year $3.6 million dollar deal. This will enhance the Pistons bench. They are deep now and he adds a new dimension to it. The Cavs will be fine without him. GO PISTONS!

Friday, July 14, 2006

BOSH SIGNS EXTENSION! Chris Bosh followed the contract frenzy that LeBron James started by signing a 4 year extension, and donating $1 million to charity. I like this unselfish act of Bosh. Like most of the 2003 draft selections, he has an option for his fourth year. GO RAPTORS!
KIRK SNYDER DEALT TO HOUSTON! The Hornets traded Kirk Snyder to the Rockets for cash and a possible second round pick. This deal works for both squads. The Hornets didn't need Snyder because they signed Peja. The Rockets need more guards and Snyder should help. NICE DEAL!

Thursday, July 13, 2006

MIKE JAMES SIGNS DEAL WITH T-WOLVES! Mike James signed a 4 year $23 million dollar deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves. This was a move that helps to revamp the T-Wolves. They will be more run and gun with James running the show. GO T-WOLVES!
RAPTORS GET SALMONS! The Toronto Raptors and John Salmons agreed to a five year $23 million dollar deal. This was another sign and trade that sent a second round draft pick and 2 million dollar trade exception. I like this move. Salmons is a role player and will help the Raptors run and gun. Bryan Colangelo is doing a brillant job. GO RAPTORS!
PIERCE'S GETTING THE BIG BILLS!
The Celtics and Paul Pierce agreed to a 3 year $59 million dollar deal. The Celts shouldn't be paying him that huge of a pay check. I think he should get about $50-51 million. It's not to knock his game, but the Celts could have done a cheaper deal.
WHAT WILL YOU BUY?
MAGIC SIGN KEITH BOGANS!
The Orlando Magic signed Keith Bogans to a deal that the details weren't made public. This will be replacing Deshawn Stevenson. I think Deshawn will go to the Wizards. I like Bogans and think his shooting is better than Steveson's.
GO MAGIC!
LAKERS SIGN WILLAMS!
The Lakers signed Shammond Willams but the agreement wasn't released. I think the Lakers added and expanded the guard and power forward spots in free agency.
GO LAKERS!
HORNETS GET PEJA IN TRADE!
The Hornets got Peja Stojakovic and cash in a sign and trade for the draft rights to Andrew Betts. Indiana got a $7.5 million dollar trade exception. The Pacers got the bad end of this deal. They gave cash and all they got was a draft pick? Maybe they are just trying to reload.
GO HORNETS!

Wednesday, July 12, 2006

JACQUE VAUGHN TO THE SPURS! The San Antonio Spurs signed point guard Jacque Vaughn to what I heard was a one year deal. I like this move. It puts more depth around Tony Parker. GO SPURS!
GREG BUCKNER TO MAVS!
The Dallas Mavs lost the Mike James bid. They decided to sign Greg Buckner to a three year deal that will be done on Thursday. I like this move. It adds a veteran like Jerry Stackhouse to the team.
GO MAVS!
GRIZZLIES COMPLETE DEAL FOR RUDY GAY!
The Memphis Grizzlies completed a trade with the Houston Rockets that sent Rudy Gay and Stromile Swift to the Grizz and Shane Battier to the Rockets. This was a bad deal for the Rockets. I love the Grizzlies and hope they can get their first playoff win next season.
GO GRIZZLIES!
MAVS TRADE OFFICAL!
The Dallas Mavs made the Marquis Daniels for Austin Croshere deal official today. This was a bad move for the Mavs. I like what the Pacers are trying to do right now.
GO PACERS!

CAP IS SET AT $53.135 MIL! The NBA has set its salary cap at $53.135 million for next season. This is an increase of 4+ million. The team that's in the danger zone now is the New York Knicks. Look at my site tomorrow for all the official free agent signings. THE KNICKS NEED ALL THE MONEY THEY CAN GET!
MIKE JAMES TO T-WOLVES!
Mike James and the Minnesota Timberwolves agreed to a 4 year deal in the $25 million dollar range. Great for Minnesota. They are making the team up nicely. With Randy Foye and James their back court is now solidified.
GO T-WOLVES!

DREAM TEAM SPORTS MAKING DREAMS COME TRUE FOR INTERNATIONAL ATHLETES

Trinidad and Tobago’s Dream Team Ambassadors to compete against NYC’s all star summer basketball leagues.

Dream Team Sports, brainchild of entrepreneur Dhanraj Maharaj, has effectively aided in the recruitment of local top rated high school players. Now Dream Team Sports is broadening its horizons with the launch of two new dynamic programs, Dream Team International Sports Program and Dream Team Sports Ambassador Program.

Dream Team International Sports Program offers students living abroad the same recruitment and scouting opportunities afforded to American high school and college bound players. Focusing primarily on Caribbean nations, the program has successfully introduced American recruiters, scouts and coaches to several outstanding Caribbean basketball players via DVD recordings of open workouts and basketball games. Dream Team ISP has also been working hands on with the Sports Federation of Trinidad and Tobago introducing the procedures and initiatives needed to ensure these programs are near or on par with their American counterparts.

An off shoot of Dream Team ISP, the Dream Team Sports Ambassador Program is designed to give student athletes a superior understanding of the world around them through international competition, cultural exchange, exposure, and a world of education beyond their home boarders. The program aims to provide a positive and challenging experience for young international athletes of the Caribbean by allowing them to travel and compete with top rated teams through out the United States.

Beginning this weekend, June 23, 2006, Dream Team Trinidad and Tobago will be in town to compete against several all-star basketball leagues throughout NYC. On Friday, June 23, 2006 Team Trinidad and Tobago takes on Coach Michael Crump and Wedleigh HS in Harlem, NYC. Saturday, June 24th, Team T&T goes against Joe Cruz’s Hoops in the Sun All-Stars, followed by Sunday’s (June 25th) finale against Jason Curry’s Big Apple Basketball Elite Team. LEBRON REJECTS 5 YEAR $80 MIL, TAKES 4 YEAR $60 MIL!
LeBron James has signed his contract extension but the details of the deal have changed. LeBron didn't want a 5 year extension and instead got a 4 year $60 million dollar deal. If Bron opts out of the third year of his contract he could be a free agent by 2010. The reason he did this because of the new collective agreement to be done in 2011. I think LeBron is smart with his money. They will probably raise the cap, and Bron can get a better offer.
GO CAVS!

ARTEST HAS THREAT TO BONZI AS JOKE!
Ron Artest had an odd comment about free agent Bonzi Wells. "I told him if he leaves, then I'm going to kill him. Unless he wants to die, he's got to stay (with the Kings)." I like what Artest said. If it makes Bonzi stay, great! But if he signs with another team, I think it would fire the Kings up.

JUST KIDDING BONZI!
NEW POLL!
I have another new poll for you to vote on. You can vote on if you think I should start a blog show. The show will be on news in the NBA and the ABA and will feature exclusive interviews. BRON SIGNS EXTENSION!
LeBron James signed his five year $80 million dollar extension today with the Cavs. Everyone was talking talking about it and Bron wanted them to be quite. I am not surprised by this move. GO CAVS!
ROCKETS BEAT DENVER!
The Houston Rockets beat the Denver Nuggets 93-90 in the Vegas Summer League. John Lucas got 25 points and 9 assists in 36 minutes. Lucas showed he could be a solid NBA player with nice numbers. Pat Carroll got 24 points and 3 boards in 37 minutes. Carroll played great. He should be a project for the Rockets to make better. Steve Novak got 20 points and 2 boards in 7 minutes. If you get 20 points in 7 minutes in any NBA League you will go far. Josh Davis got 14 points and 6 boards in 27 minutes. Davis played well for Denver. Denver won't have any real good players in this Summer League. John Gilchrist got 15 points and 4 assists in 23 minutes. Gilchirst had a solid game. That's all I see from Denver in the Summer League. A few solid guys.
GO ROCKETS!

RAPTORS WIN IN SUMMER LEAGUE!
The Toronto Raptors beat the Washington Wizards 93-85 in the Vegas Summer League. I am not surprised by this win. The Raptors have plenty of more promising players for the future than the Wizards. Andrea Bargnani got 20 points and shot 7-11 from the field and pulling in 4 boards in 30 minutes. Bargnani was playing great. He hit his foul shots and got 16 in the first half. Joey Graham led the way with 22 points and shot 7-12 from the field in 26 minutes. I don't think Graham should be in the Summer League. He has good talent and will do fine without this. Andre Barret had 13 points and 5 assists in 23 minutes. Barret had a solid game. I think he will continue to develop under the wing of T.J. Ford. Kris Humphries got 12 points and 7 boards in 26 and a half minutes. Humphries played well. I like his rebounding and think his offense will come to him later in his NBA tenure. Oleksiy Pecherov for the Wizards got 15 points and 7 boards in 28 minutes. Great game from Pecherov. Will numbers like that he looks like a good pick. Cornelius McFadgon got 17 points and 1 assist in 19 minutes. Nice game of scoring for McFadgon. He has to learn and develop an all around game to make it in the NBA though. Andray Blatche got 15 points and 7 boards in 34 minutes. Nice game for Blatche. He got rebounds and every team likes a forward who pull in boards. Donell Taylor got 12 points and 2 assists in 30 minutes. Taylor played well. But just like Cornelius has to have a complete game.
GO RAPTORS!

BOBCATS SIGN MORRISON!
The Charlotte Bobcats signed number three pick Adam Morrison to his rookie contract. He will make $6.25 million the first two years of his contract. The Bobcats can choose to pick up his option after that point. Good move and I think he deserves the big bills. Morrison will play in the Summer League in Orlando starting July 10th.
GO BOBCATS!

DALLAS MAKES DUMB DEAL!
The Dallas Mavericks traded Marquis Daniels to the Pacers for Austin Croshere. This is a HORRIBLE deal for Dallas!!! What are they thinking? Daniels is promising and enless this was for cap space it was a bad idea. The Pacers made a great deal on the flip side.
GO PACERS!
WARRIORS AND JAZZ AGREE ON DEAL!
The Golden State Warriors agreed to trade Derek Fisher to the Jazz for Devin Brown, Keith McLeod and Andre Owens. Nice deal for the Jazz. This gives Deron Willams a good back up that can shoot. The Warriors got one good player in Devin Brown. Brown can get hot and I like his athleticism.
NICE DEAL!
BULLS AGREE TO DEAL CHANDLER!
The Chicago Bulls have agreed to trade Tyson Chandler to the Hornets for P.J. Brown and J.R. Smith. Good deal only for the Bulls. The Hornets got nothing out of this deal. They get a guy who has to develop some skills. The Bulls get even better and I love this move.
GO BULLS!
ARE THE BULLS BETTER THAN THE PISTONS? YOU DECIDE!
I have a new poll up and you can cast your vote if you think the Bulls are better than the Pistons now. You can choose yes, no or have to wait and see. I think the Bulls are better but have to wait and see. The poll is at the top left of my blog.
YOU CAN VOTE EVERYDAY!
BLAZERS SIGN ROY AND ALDRIGE!
The Blazers signed first round picks LaMarcus Aldrige and Brandon Roy to rookie contracts. Aldrige will bank in $6.96 million the first two years of this deal. Roy will cash in $4.69 million the first two years of his deal. The Blazers signed them quick, and gave the rookies their pay.
GO BLAZERS!

Tuesday, July 04, 2006

JOEL PRZYBILLA STAYS IN PORTLAND!
The Blazers and Joel Przybilla have agreed on a 5 year $30 million dollar deal. The Blazers may trade Joel. His value is huge and maybe they could package him with Juan Dixon.

GO BLAZERS!
BIG BEN REPLACEMENT FOUND!
The Detroit Pistons and Nazr Mohammed agreed to a 5 year $30 million dollar deal. I like this replacement for Big Ben. He brings some offense. Which the Pistons might try to win with next season.
GO PISTONS!
HARPRING STAYS IN UTAH!
The Utah Jazz and Matt Harpring have agreed on a 4 year $25 million dollar deal to keep him in Utah. The Suns had some intrest but didn't have the money to sign Harpring. I like this move because Harpring plays ball on both ends of the floor.
GO JAZZ!
PIATKOWSKI TO SUNS!
The Suns and Eric Piatkowski have agreed to a two year deal. He will make the minimum $1.1 million his first season, and $1.2 million in 2007-2008. I think he fits the run and gun style of the Suns. I hope he finds a team where he gets minutes.
GO SUNS!
WADE GETS EXSTENSION!
The Miami Heat and Dwade have agreed on a five year $75 to $85 million dollar extension. Good for the Heat. Wade should get the big dollars.
GO HEAT!

Monday, July 03, 2006

BEN WALLACE TO BULLS!!!
Ben Wallace and the Bulls have agreed on a 4 year $60 million dollar deal. Wow this is amazing! The Bulls are going to be the best in the East in my option next season. They have much depth and are young. The Pistons are in trouble, and now need a replacment for Big Ben.
GO BULLS!
HAWKS GET CLAXTON!
The Hawks and Speedy Claxton have agreed on a 4 year deal in the $25 million dollar range. This is not a big deal for the Hornets. They got Bobby Jackson today so you knew they would not re-sign Claxton. I like the move, and think he will help them to improve their back court.
GO HAWKS!
NENE STAYS IN DENVER!
The Denver Nuggets and Nene have agreed to terms on a 6 year $60 million dollar deal. This is not offical that he will stay in Denver. I think he might be a sign and trade possibility to see what's on the market. If he stays and plays well it will be a great move.
GOOD LUCK NENE!
JACKSON TO HORNETS!
Bobby Jackson has agreed to become a Hornet next season. But the money or years of the deal weren't released. This is a replacment for Speedy Claxton. Jackson has a similar style like Claxton so he should fit well.
GO HORNETS!

Sunday, July 02, 2006

PEJA AGREES WITH HORNETS!
Peja Stojakovic has agreed to a 5 year $64 million dollar deal with the Hornets. Now the Pacers have nothing to show for Ron Artest they should have done a sign and trade with Peja. Look out for the Hornets! They will be great next season.
GO HORNETS!
LAKERS HAVE TERMS WITH RADMONIVIC!
The Lakers and Vladimir Radmonivic have agreed to terms on a 5 year $31 million dollar deal. The Lakers have the guard need fixed with Farmar and another big man with Radmonivic.
GO LAKERS!

Saturday, July 01, 2006

PEJA AND RADMONOVIC TO CHANGE TEAMS?
Peja Stojakovic and Vladimir Radmonovic have been offered deals to different teams. Stojakovic has been offered a 5 year $60 million dollar range deal by the Hornets. The Hornets would be amazing with Chris Paul and Peja. He's perfect to surrond a play maker like Paul, and with a shooter like Peja. Vladimir Radmonovic has been offered a $30 million dollar five year deal by the Lakers. He would be a good fit in LA. A shooting big man besides Odom would help.
WHAT TEAM ARE YOU GOING TO?
TIM THOMAS TO CLIPPS!
Tim Thomas will ditch the Suns and sign a 4 year, $24 million dollar deal at the mid-level exception with the Clippers. Great for LA. This is a good fit and will help Elton Brand get more rest. The Suns should have tried to keep him, but they need to balance out some money, so he had to go.
GOOD LUCK TIM!
BARGNANI SIGNS WITH RAPTORS!
Number one overall draft pick Andrea Bargnani signed his first rookie contract. He will make $7.78 million in his first two seasons. The Raptors will be able to pick up his option after the first two seasons. Good for them to get this done and out of the way.
GOOD LUCK ANDREA!
TERRY AGREES TO SIX YEAR DEAL!
The Dallas Mavericks and point guard Jason Terry have agreed to a six year $50 million dollar deal. The contract cannot be signed until July 12th. The Mavs had the work done early. The Jet will be in a Mavs jersey until 2012, and he will be a 34 year old veteran.
GOOD LUCK TERRY!
MELO TO SIGN EXTENSION!
Carmelo Anthony has a verbal agreement with the Nuggets to sign a $80 million dollar extension for five years. "We've informed the Nuggets that we intend to sign on July 12," Calvin Andrews, Anthony's agent said. Good for the Nuggets to get the one untouchable guy on their team an extension.
GOOD JOB MELO!
DIRK SAYS CUBAN SHOULD CALM DOWN!
Dirk had a few things to say about Mavs owner Mark Cuban. "We can't lose our temper all the time on the court or off the court, and I think he's got to learn that, too. He's got to improve in that area and not yell at the officials the whole game." I wonder how Cuban will respond to this. He might not say a thing, if he does, things will get interesting.
TROUBLE IN DALLAS?
HOUSE GOING POSEY STAYING!
Eddie House has decided to test free agency and opted out of his contract. James Posey of the Heat will stay on the champion squad. House should stay. He was the perfect fit for the Suns. If he still wants to run, maybe he should go to the Raptors. Posey hit clutch shots in the playoffs so the Heat will keep him around for sure.
SOME GO SOME STAY!
BIG BEN TO MEET WITH BULLS!
Ben Wallace is scheduled to meet with the Chicago Bulls today about signing with them. If the Bulls get him, we will see the dynasty Bulls rise again! The Bulls have some money so they could pull it off.
THINK ABOUT IT BEN!
CAVS OFFER LJ 80 MILLION!
The Cleveland Cavs offered LeBron James a $80 million dollar extension for five years. Good for Cleveland to attack this as soon as they can. Bron Bron will sign it, I think. This team is on its way up and he will get a ring here if he stays.
ALL UP TO YOU BRON!
FORD AND VILLANUEVA SWAP!
In a big deal the Raptors send Charlie Villanueva and cash to the Bucks for T.J. Ford. This is a good deal for both teams. Now that the Bucks are going to trade Jamal Magloire, Villanueva is the perfect replacement. If the Raptors don't re-sign Mike James now, they have Ford in his place. This also helps the Raptors create that Suns run and gun style. When the Bucks deal Magloire, they will probably get a point guard to replace Ford.
GOOD LUCK ON YOUR NEW TEAMS!
