4 PLAYOFF GAMES!
The games last night were close and a few teams have big holes. First the New Jersey Nets tied the series 2-2 by beating the Pacers 97-88. VC got 28 points and 7 assists in 38 minutes. Carter scored and passed the whole package. Jermaine O'Neal got 22 points and 7 boards in 32 minutes. O'Neal was limited by New Jersey and didn't have a big game 4. Next the Dallas Mavs beat the Grizzlies 94-89 in OT to take a 3-0 series lead. Even though I like the Grizz have to say this: Their Goin Fishin! Dirk Nowitzki got 36 points and 9 boards in 48 minutes. Dirk didn't play but 5 minutes and he needs the win Monday to get some extra rest. Jason Terry got 22 points and 4 assists in 46 minutes. Terry has to play this way and be the second scorer to keep Dirk from burning out. Chucky Atkins got 20 points and 3 assists in 36 minutes. Atkins had to way to much to get the Grizz a win and Gasol needs to be more affective. Next the Buck actually got a game on the Pistons winning 124-104. I don't care about this series I will not talk about the series until it ends because Detroit is to good. In the last game the LA Clippers beat the Denver Nuggets 100-86. The Nuggets have a game to work with be I think LA will face LA in the 2nd round.

3 SERIES NOW 2-1!
After last nights great games three series are 2-1. In the first game the Cavs beat the Wizards on the road 97-96. LJ had an amazing layup with 5.7 left that should have been a foul. LeBron finished with 41 points and 5 boards in 484 minutes. Bron Bron needs rest after playing the whole game. Larry Hughes got 16 points and 4 steals in 40 minutes. Hughes forced turnovers can be why the won this game. Zydrunas Ilgauskas got 15 points and 8 boards in 31 minutes. Big Z had a nice game and his scoring is a bonus when in double figures. Antawn Jamison got 14 points and 10 boards in 41 minutes. Jamison played well and couldn't make his much needed three's. Gilbert Arenas got 34 points and 6 boards in 46 minutes. Even though it wasn't a long rest at least Arenas sat a little. In Kings land the team squeezed home a Kevin Martin game winner to win 94-93 over the Spurs. But are still down 2-1 in the series. Bonzi Wells got 19 points and pulled down 14 boards in 44 minutes. Wells rebounding was huge and he has to continue this groove he's been in the last 2 games. Mike Bibby got 25 points and 8 assists in 48 minutes. Bibby was fantastic and got the ball to the team. Michael Finley got 17 points and 2 assists in 30 minutes. Finely kept the Spurs alive late and early with his triples. In the last game the LA Lakers beat the Phoenix Suns 99-93. Smush Parker led the Lakers in scoring with 18 points and 1 steal in 40 minutes for the balanced out Lakers. Parker is a key scorer in this passive Lakers supporting cast. Kobe Bryant got 17 points and 7 assists in 46 minutes. Bryant got the ball to the the team and they are responding. Lamar Odom got 15 points and 17 boards in 40 minutes. Odom had been a monster on the boards the last 2 game and has to keep it up. Steve Nash got 17 points and 11 assists in 41 minutes. MVP numbers but the real MVP is winning the series. The LA Lakers had all 5 starters in double figures.

PACERS WIN!
The Pacers back at home won 107-95 to take a 2-1 series lead over the Nets. Jermaine O'Neal got 37 points and 15 boards in 41 minutes. O'Neal is healthy again and player wonderfully tonight. Anthony Johnson got a playoff high with 25 points and 8 assists in 40 minutes. Johnson was hot on fire and has to keep up the good play. Richard Jefferson got 25 points and 7 assists in 45 minutes. Jefferson lifted them in the 3rd and kept them close. VC got 25 points and 5 boards in 42 minutes. Carterwas horrible in the 2nd half missing every shot he took and just going for jump shots.

3 GAMES LAST NIGHT!
Last night in the three playoff games 2 home teams won and one team tied up their series. First of course the cruising Pistons beat the Bucks 109-89. Richard Hamilton got 18 points and 8 assists in 33 minutes. Hamilton got the ball out and did what's best for the team. Chauncey Billups got 20 points and 6 assists in 35 minutes. Billups didn't deserve MVP and I don't think he cares if it's not a finals ring. Michael Redd got 29 points and 4 boards in 37 minutes. Redd has to let T.J. Ford get going and pass the ball around. In the next game the Dallas Mavs protected home court with a 94-79 win over the Grizz for a 2-0 series lead. Dirk Nowitzki got 31 points and 4 boards in 37 minutes. Nowitzki has to play like this putting up 30+ but they needed that bench spark that was felt in game 1. Jason Terry got 16 points and 9 assists in 37 minutes. Terry was terrific and got the ball to his were they could score. Pau Gasol got 16 points and 7 boards in 38 minutes. Gasol also had 5 assists and that is just good teamwork and hard work for Gasol to pass it like that. In the last game the LA Lakers tied up the Suns 1-1 with a 99-93 win. Kobe Bryant got 29 points and 10 boards in 45 minutes. Kobe lead a nice balanced out attack by the Lakers. Lamar powered his way for 21 points and 7 boards in 44 minutes. Odom on one play were Kobe wanted the ball. Odom decided to it to the bucket and score and that's I like to see from a talented player. Steve Nash got 29 points and 9 assists in 40 minutes. Nash had to do the scoring early and then Tim Thomas got hot but he didn't have a big game 2.

Tonight TNT has another doubleheader. First at 8:00 pm Eastern game 2 of the Grizzlies vs. Mavs series where the Mavs lead the series 1-0. The Grizz might make the right adjustments and win their first playoff game tonight! Next at 10:30 Eastern the LA Lakers will play the Phoenix Suns for game 2. The Lakers need this win if they have a chance in the series. I know the will win at home. Also on NBA tv at 7:30 the Buck will visit the Pistons in game 2. Pistons sweep. Period.

2 SERIES TIED UP LAST NIGHT!
Last night with the Nets and Wizards winning they both tie up their series. The Wizards beat the Cleveland Cavs 89-84 on the road. Gilbert Arenas got 30 points and 6 assists in 47 minutes. Arenas played well and the Wizards will play even better in game 3. LJ got 26 points and 10 turnovers in 43 minutes. Bron Bron was played wonderfully by Jared Jeffries who has the right size and speed to guard him. Game 3 of this series will be on Friday 8:oo pm Eastern time on ESPN. The New Jersey Nets beat the Pacers 90-75 to tie it up at 1 game a piece. VC had a better game scoring 33 points and passing out 5 dimes in 41 minutes. Carter only shot 20 times and worked it inside and that's how they overpowered the Pacers. Jason Kidd got 13 dimes and 11 boards in 38 minutes. JKidd had a double-double without points only scoring 6. That's amazing! Anthony Johnson got 17 points and 6 boards in 40 minutes. Johnson has been huge for the Pacers and I think they would be down 2-0 without him. In the other game last night the Spurs beat the Kings 128-119 in overtime and lead the series 2-0. Tony Parker got 22 points and 10 assists in 43 minutes. Parker was good but he has to get Tim Duncan involved more. Shareef Abdur-Rahim got 27 points and 9 boards in 35 minutes off the bench. Abdur-Rahim is a high scorer on the Spurs in the season and in his second playoff game kept it going.
MORE SERIES NEED TO GET TIED UP!

TNT DOUBLEHEADER!
Tonight TNT has two great game two's for you to enjoy! First at 8pm Eastern time the Heat will host the Chicago Bulls. The Heat will play without forward Udonis Haslem who was suspended without pay for throwing a mouth piece at a referee. This game is important for the Bulls before going to play game 3 in Chicago. Next in the night cap the LA Clippers will host the Denver Nuggets at 10:30 pm Eastern. The Nuggets have win or at least get momentum going towards game 3.

MAVS WIN!
The Dallas Mavericks beat the Memphis Grizz 103-93 and have a 1-0 series lead. The Grizz still haven't got a playoff win in the franchise history. The Mavs didn't play defense and let the Grizz shoot 53% from the floor. Dirk Nowitzki got 31 points and 11 boards in 45 minutes. Nowitzki played well and made most of his shoots against the best defense in the league. Jason Terry got 20 points and 4 assists in 36 minutes. Terry played alright but has to get those assists up and pass. Jerry Stackhouse got 14 points and 1 assist in 33 minutes off the bench. Stackhouse could be Sixth man of the year and he's instant offense for the Mavs. Erick Dampier got 12 points and 12 boards in 33 minutes off the bench. Dampier has accepted coming off the bench and played better than he did as a starter. Pau Gasol got 24 points and 7 boards in 41 minutes. Gasol did all he could also adding two blocks but the Mavs had to much offense for them. Jake Tsakalidis got 11 points and 8 boards in 27 minutes. They tried to get Tsakaldis going early and establish quick center offense and he played great. Eddie Jones got 16 points and 2 dimes in 34 minutes. Jones was hot in the 1st and hit two three's but wasn't as hot later. Of course you saw the Pistons beat the Bucks 92-74 and take a series lead of 1-0. It's such an easy series for Detroit.
GO MAVS!

SUNS WIN!
The Phoenix Suns beat the LA Lakers 107-102 to take a 1-0 series lead. LA comeback from 14 down but came short in the end. Steve Nash got 20 points and 10 assists in 28 minutes. Nash played a great game and found his team and got them going. Tim Thomas had a great game with 22 points and a all time high 15 boards in 24 minutes. Thomas was hitting jumpers and getting some good boxouts and rebounding. Boris Diaw got 15 points and 6 boards in 29 minutes. Diaw is my most improved player of the year and Nash brings the best out of him. Shawn Marion got 19 points and 7 boards in 34 minutes. Marion played well but didn't have the 20+ he usually gets. Kobe Bryant got 22 points and 6 boards in 34 minutes. Kobe stayed in the offense and passed the ball and tried to get going but it was to late. Lamar Odom got 21 points and 14 boards in 34 minutes. Odom got the boards and played okay but he missed a few easy shoots in the first half. Smush Parker got 15 points and 6 boards in 32 minutes. Parker and the other Lakers showed they can play a nice balanced game maybe Kobe will do less next season. Luke Walton got 19 points and 6 boards in 28 minutes. Walton played a great game and having playmakers in Odom and Walton is key for Kobe to move without the ball.
GO SUNS!
PACERS WIN!
The Indiana Pacers beat the New Jersey Nets 90-88 to take a 1-0 series lead. Richard Jefferson had a chance to tie the game up but missed the shot and that was the end for the Nets. Stephen Jackson got 18 points and 8 boards in 40 minutes. Jackson was hot and player a great game and will fill the scoring if O'Neal and Peja aren't hot. Jermaine O'Neal had 15 points and 3 boards in 29 minutes. O'Neal was alright he still isn't 100% healthy from his injury and he might be traded this summer. Anthony Johnson got 12 points and 6 assists in 39 minutes. Johnson playing his old team and rose to the occasion and stepped up. Peja Stojakovic got 12 points and 5 boards in 26 minutes. Stojakovic got going in the 3rd and will do better in the next game. Fred Jones got 15 points and 4 assists in 26 minutes. Jones got out played hard and had nice dunk for the highlight real you should see. VC got 31 points on 12-33 shooting. Vc made a big mistake and has get Jefferson involved.
GO PACERS!

CLIPPS WIN FIRST PLAYOFF GAME SINCE 1993!
The LA Clippers beat the Denver Nuggets 89-87 and take 1-0 series lead. The Nuggets have a few chances to tie or win the game in the final seconds but Melo was 0-8 from the field in the 4th. Sam Cassell got 19 points and 7 assists in 34 minutes. Cassell played well and gets the ball to his team more now. Chris Kaman got 15 points and 13 boards in 43 minutes. Kaman played alright and he has to get these numbers so the defense collapses on him and they get open jumpers. Cuttino Mobley got 17 points and 6 boards in 38 minutes. Mobley player well and hit his jumpers and got the crowd on it's feet. Elton Brand got 21 points and 8 boards in 41 minutes. Brand will now be a regular All Star now his team is going to win. Andre Miller got 25 points and and 6 assists in 36 minutes. Miller player well and he is the locker room motivator. Carmelo Anthony got 25 points and 7 boards in 44 minutes. Melo has to hit shoots in 4th or he won't be trusted late by anyone.
GO CLIPPS!

HEAT WIN!
The Miami Heat beat the Chicago Bulls 111-106 to take 1-0 series lead. The Heat had double digit leads but the Bulls kept fighting back but it wasn't enough. Udonis Haslem got angry after a no foul call and threw his mouth guard at the ref and got ejected and might be suspended or fined from the league. Also Flash left the game with 8.6 seconds left because of cramps in his leg nothing bad for the Heat. Shaq had a big night with 27 points and 16 boards in 37 minutes. O'Neal doesn't have any more 40+ nights though this will get it done. Dwyane Wade got 30 points and 11 assists in 45 minutes. Wade had to chip in more minutes but he's well rested for the playoffs. Jason Williams got 17 points and 4 boards in 33 minutes. JWill played a good game and still needs to get better from a season with injuries. Antoine Walker got 10 points and 4 steals in 43 minutes. ESPN2 said he was allergic to defense and if you have four steals you've been taking defense medicine Toine. Zo still didn't play because of his calf injurie and hopefully he'll be back for game 2. Ben Gordon got 35 points and 3 assists in 45 minutes. Gordon was great and he kept them in the game with his three's. Andres Nocioni got 18 points and 16 boards in 42 minutes. Nocioni always plays great in the playoffs and the Bulls excpect that from him. GO BULLS!

SPURS WIN!
The San Antonio Spurs beat the Sacramento Kings 122-88. After getting 73 in the first half the Spurs cooled down for 49 in the 2nd half but still blew them out. Tony Parker led the way with 25 points and 5 boards in 25 minutes. Tony didn't have to play much and did great and will be well rested in the next game. Nazr Mohammed 18 points and 8 boards in 25 minutes. Mohammed was great and along with every Spur put some points up on the board. Tim Duncan got 11 points and 7 boards in 24 minutes. Duncan will get rest and that will be key to rest his bad foot. Manu Ginobili got 10 points and 5 boards in 23 minutes. Ginobili was great and just like the other starter will get good rest. Michael Finley got 10 points and 7 boards in 20 minutes. Finley was great and has be big off the bench for the Spurs to be affective. Nick Van Exel got 11 points and 1 steal in 18 minutes. Van Exel has to have the bounce in his step and they were a few bounces too many for the Kings. Rasho Nesterovic got 10 points and 7 boards in 24 minutes. Nesterovic was great also and he needs to carry this to the next game. Mike Bibby got 17 points and 4 boards in 32 minutes. Bibby gave it his all but he and the rest of the Kings have to forget this game and win the next one. Ron Artest got 16 points and 4 assists in 36 minutes. Artest carried the team at the start and it was all lost from their on.

CAVS WIN FIRST PLAYOFF GAME!
The Cleveland Cavs beat the Washington Wizards in the first playoff game 97-86. Now they have a 1-0 lead in the series and will play Tuesday at 7:00 on TNT I think. The Cavs even grew out their beards a little as a good luck charm. Bron Bron went off for 32 points, 11 boards and 11 assists in 48 minutes. LeBron played great in his first playoff game and he will need his rest before Tuesday after playing the whole game. Zydrunas Ilgauskas got 10 points and 6 boards in 30 minutes. Big Z player great and the home crowd got the energy level higher for the Cavs. Donyell Marshall got 19 points and 7 boards in 23 minutes off the bench. If Marshall can have this impact off the bench he will win Sixth man of the series if they had one. Eric Snow got 14 points and 4 boards in 32 minutes. Snow was 10 over his average and when he gets you points it's a big plus. Drew Gooden got 7 points and 10 boards in 19 minutes. Gooden not doing much on the offensive end but always controls the glass for the Cavs. The big three for the Wizards (Gilbert Arenas, Antawn Jamison and Caron Butler) combined for only 48 points instead of the 67 average and that's were the lost the game. Jared Jeffries got 15 points and 5 boards in 35 minutes. Even though they lost it's important for Jeffries to have confidence and he showed it in this game. Gotta go back to the Spurs game and I will tell you all about it!
GO CAVS!

After last nights game we know who is facing who in the playoffs. First the East the Detroit Pistons will face the Milwaukee Bucks on TNT this Sunday 7:00 pm Eastern time. Detroit will have an easy run but Milwaukee will give it all. Next the Miami Heat play the Chicago Bulls on ESPN Saturday at 8:00 pm Eastern time. This series could be close but if the Heat are healthy they might win. Third in the East the New Jersey Nets and the Indiana Pacers at 1:00 pm Eastern time on TNT Sunday. The Nets should win but if VC doesn't play well it would give them a chance. Next Kings James and the Cavs get into the playoffs and play the Wizards at 3:00 pm Eastern time on Saturday with ABC. The Cavs might have a tough time but LJ will lead them threw. Now for the West the San Antonio Spurs will host the hot Sacramento Kings at 5:30 on Saturday on ESPN. Next the Suns will play Kobe and the LA Lakers on Sunday 3:30 ABC. The Lakers will have trouble stopping the Suns but if they can't stop Kobe the Lakers will stay close. Next the Denver Nuggets play the surprise LA Clippers on Saturday at 10:30 on ESPN. I like the Nuggets if Camby can play well. Last the Grizz will play the Dallas Mavs on Sunday at 9:30 on TNT.

HAWKS WIN!
The Atlanta Hawks beat the Miami Heat 100-103. The Heat rested Shaq and Wade in this game and didn't matter win or not. Tyrone Lue hit a game three and in the final seconds Dorell Wright missed on a 3 that would have forced overtime. Marvin Williams got 15 points and 9 boards in 27 minutes off the bench. Willams still gas to learn the NBA game and will get better next season. Zaza Pachulia got 18 points and 8 boards in 37 minutes. Pachulia is a great player for the Hawks someone how can go out and rebound. Al Harrington got 17 points and 4 boards in 27 minutes. He plays for the Hawks now but soon he could be the newest member of the Chicago Bulls in the off season. Tyronn Lue got 15 points and 4 assists in 24 minutes off the bench. Lue could be a good bench scorer for them to keep around so they can run and gun off the bench. Dorell Wright got 19 points and 7 boards in 28 minutes. Wright got to play some and he could be used sparingly in the playoffs. Jason Kapono got 16 points and 6 assists in 26 minutes. Kapono had been bad this season and got him to put shooters around Shaq.

ROCKETS WIN!
The Houston Rockets cam from 18 down to beat the Denver Nuggets 86-83. Even though the Rockets are no where near the playoffs and have two injured All Stars they fought back and I like to see that. Juwan Howard exploded for 31 points and 7 boards in 33 minutes. Howard put the team on his back and wouldn't let this one go for his team. Rafer Alston got 17 points and 7 assists in 42 minutes. Alston played well but he's a good team player to put around Tmac and Yao maybe he'll be moved. Carmelo Anthony got 22 points and 6 boards in 28 minutes. Anthony was a little off but came up short.
GO ROCKETS!

In the West the Lakers may by 7th or 8th depending on what happens in the last game of the season and the Kings own the tiebreaker. In the East the Bulls could go from 8th to 5th with a win and the Bucks and Pacers losing.

EASTER GAMES ON ABC!
Today ABC has a great doubleheader to eat your Easter candy to. First the Chicago Bulls visit the Miami Heat at 1 pm Eastern time. The Sixers are a game and a half behind the Bulls and a win today might seal the deal for Phili. Game two will be out West with the Lakers hosting possible playoff rival the Suns at 3:30 pm Eastern time. The Lakers need this win to have more hope if they play this team in first round and Odom needs a third straight triple double.

BOBCATS WIN IN OT!
The Charlotte Bobcats beat the Indiana Pacers 92-91 in overtime. Even though they lost the Pacers clinched playoff berth and might have a losing season this year. The Bobcats have stay healthy and next season we will see how they do. Melvin Ely got 14 points and 9 boards in 29 minutes. Ely was great and the Bobcats have a great young nucleus to look forward to in the future. Matt Carroll got 15 points and 9 boards in 31 minutes. Carroll had all 15 in the 4th period and he is a great product from D-League. Primoz Brezec got 18 points and 8 boards in 36 minutes. Brezec is pretty good but later in the franchise they will know they can do better not taking anything away from Brezec though. Jermaine O'Neal got 30 points and 8 boards in 44 minutes. O'Neal is getting back and is looking better and should 100% by the time the playoffs roll around. Peja Stojakovic got 18 points and 7 boards in 42 minutes. Stojakovic has to play together with O'Neal and see if this team can get some good chemistry. Stephen Jackson got 18 points and 6 boards in 42 minutes. Jackson was good and he has be number two and work the ball in and out with Jermaine.

BULLS WIN!
The Chicago Bulls beat the Washington Wizards 103-101 to take back the final playoff spot in the East. Ben Gordon hit 9-9 from three land and tied Latrell Sprewell's for most threes made without a miss. To bad Spree had to thank him from home instead of playing this season! Gordon finished with 32 points and 5 assists in 34 minutes. Gordon and the young baby Bulls are pulling and hard and I hope we see them on April 23rd. Kirk Hinrich got 19 points and 8 assists in 42 minutes. Hinrich has to anchor the offense and did well with 8 assists. Antonio Daniels got 20 points and 8 assists in 47 minutes. Good to see Daniels playing well but he should have stayed with Seattle. Gilbert Arenas got 36 points and 5 boards in 45 minutes. Arenas shot 32 times and unless your as hot as Kobe's 50 was last night don't do that.

MAGIC WIN 7TH IN A ROW!
The Orlando Magic beat the San Antonio Spurs 92-80 for a 7th win in a row. We won't see the Magic in the playoffs but next season we just might. Dwight Howard got 22 points and 13 boards in 38 minutes. For the confidence of Howard he needs to see himself against Duncan so he knows he can play against the best in the league. Jameer Nelson got 19 points and 8 assists in 36 minutes. Nelson is a great player and like this whole young team will only get better. Hedo Turkoglu got 15 points and 4 boards in 36 minutes. Turkoglu is a 2nd option for the Magic and he has to give nights like these for to win this season. Tim Duncan hoad a big game with 31 points and 13 boards in 38 minutes. The Magic let Duncan get his but held every other Spur under 20 and I like the idea.
GO MAGIC!

BUCKS WIN!
The Milwaukee Bucks beat the Washington Wizards 100-97. T.J. Ford got 16 points and 5 steals in 31 minutes. Ford was great and 5 steals will get the Bucks out on the fastbreak. Michael Redd got 24 points and 3 boards in 33 minutes. I know Ford's the assist man but Redd has to get the ball to his team a lot more. Andrew Bogut got 17 points and 4 boards in 34 minutes. Bogut played great and has to get double dight rebounds to make this team better. Joe Smith got 14 points and 8 boards in 29 minutes off the bench. Smith player well and coming off the bench gives the Bucks a big lift offensively. Gilbert Arenas got 25 points and 6 assists in 46 minutes.
GO BUCKS!

WHAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT CONCERNING THE PLAYOFFS!
This is an update on the playoff race and how some teams moved up. With a 123-110 loss to the Suns and a 111-100 win for the Lakers against the Warriors the Lakers take 7th in the West. The Bulls won 104-101 over New Jersey to tie the Sixer for 8th and final spot in the East and Chicago owns the tie breaker. San Antonio beat the Sonics 104-95 and have a 1 game lead for #1 spot in the Western Conference. Now I want to talk about two key players who had great games last night and both team would like to see these numbers from them again. Shaq had his 2nd triple double and has the longest streak between triple double in NBA history but had 15 points and 10 assists and 11 boards on the Raptors. Even though it was the Raptors what a game for Shaq and he was big without Wade playing. Lamar Odom had 15 points, 10 assists and 13 boards on Golden State. Odom has to give these numbers a lot more the Lakers know he's capable of it but he hasn't had the chance.
PLAY YOUR BEST FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON!

LAKERS BEAT THAT OTHER LA TEAM!
The LA Lakers beat the LA Clippers 100-83. Lakers cruised throughout the 4th period and win it by 14 points. Lamar Odom had a great game with 23 points and 15 boards in 43 minutes. Odom had one his great games and he's fitting with the Lakers well. Kobe Bryant got 38 points and 5 assists in 47 minutes. Bryant had 15 of his 17 in the first half but this time he had a lot of help from Odom. Luke Walton got 13 points and 7 boards in 33 minutes. It's good to start Walton I think Cook has to get back in flow and work his way back into the first 5 on the court. Kwame Brown got 9 points and 8 boards in 42 minutes. Brown has to get 10 and 10 or better to be seen in Phil Jackson's eyes and I know he can't stand this inconsistent
play of Brown. Elton Brand got 24 points and 10 boards in 43 minutes. Brand has put up these All Star numbers every season with the Clippers but his team was never this good. Sam Cassell got 24 points and 5 boards in 36 minutes. Sam I am has to run the Clipps offense and get 10+ assists then got score 20+ points come on.

SIXERS WIN BIG GAME!
The Philadelphia 76ers beat the Chicago Bulls 89-75. This was a big win for the Sixers to steal back the eight spot but the Bulls have more conference wins and keep the spot for now. The Sixers had to play without Chris Webber because of a lower back strain and had better ball movement. Samuel Dalembert got 12 points and 14 boards in 31 minutes. Dalembert was hot in the 1st and kept rolling and getting a lot of boards the rest of the way. Allen Iverson got 39 points and 3 boards in 41 minutes. AI had to do a lot of scoring from the free throw line and he came up big in one of the biggest games in the stretch run of the playoffs. Andre Iguodala got 10 points and 7 boards in 41 minutes. Iguodala played well in Webber's absence and he needs to be that 3rd option for the Sixers. Steven Hunter got 9 points and 9 boards in 35 minutes. Hunter played a good solid game and the Sixers will need more of that to stay in the playoff race. Andres Nocioni got 19 points and 10 boards in 36 minutes. Nocioni had had 6 straight double double's I think and this when he usually steps up his play for the playoffs. Chris Duhon got 14 points and 6 assists in 26 minutes. Duhon was great in that role of scoring and getting the ball to the team. Tyson Chandler got 4 points and 10 boards in 27 minutes. Chandler has to learn how to be a big scorer in the post and dominate a game.

GO SIXERS!

KNICKS WIN!
The New York Knicks beat the Indiana Pacers 98-96. Jamal Crawford did it again hitting a game winning jumper and I think teams should start to double him when this happens. Jamal Crawford led the Knicks with 23 points and 4 boards in 42 minutes. Crawford is the only reason they have won 20+ games and if I were him I would try to get on a winning team. Qyntel Woods got 13 points and 9 boards in 36 minutes. Woods gave good minutes but the Knicks have to rebuild and get a new team to be good again. Nate Robinson got 16 points and 2 steals in 24 minutes off the bench. Robinson is being shopped around and I wouldn't be surprised if a trade will happen. Eddy Curry got 12 points and 6 boards in 30 minutes. Curry has to work on the off season (if he's not traded) and comeback to dominate. Jackie Butler got 10 points and 8 boards in 23 minutes off the bench. Butler should stay along with a few players and the Knicks should trade the whole team away. Anthony Johnson got 12 points and 7 assists in 33 minutes. Johnson has been great with Tinsely out and they should keep him around. Peja Stojakovic got 32 points and 7 boards in 37 minutes. Stojakovic has had great nights like this in a Pacers uniform and he's the perfect fit for the Pacers.

PISTONS WIN!
The Detroit Pistons beat the short handed Miami Heat 95- 82. The Pistons look like they will probably keep the best record in NBA now. For the Heat who are missing key players like Zo and Jason Willams it looks bad for that Eastern conference final. Chauncey Billups got 14 points and 9 assists in 34 minutes. Billups will have to be a candied for MVP with 61 wins and more to come for his team and also his own numbers. Tony Delk got 12 points and 1 steal in 12 minutes. That's solid amount of time Delk can use to come and rest on of two All Star guards. Richard Hamilton got 19 points and 5 boards in 39 minutes. Hamilton will have put up numbers like this to keep his team winning games. Tayshaun Prince got 20 points and 8 boards in 40 minutes. Prince was king even in Miami and he is the glue that sticks this team together. Dwyane Wade got 29 points and 9 boards in 46 minutes. DWade did it all but fell short pretty badly. Shaquille O'Neal got 28 points and 7 boards in 36 minutes. Shaq is in playoff shape and once Zo is back to rest him they will lose by less and possibly win this game.
GO PISTONS!

BLAZERS WIN!
The Portland Trail Blazers beat the Houston Rockets 76-75 to end an 11 game losing streak. Sebastian Telfair hit a game winning jumper and the Rockets couldn't answer back. Sebastian Telfair ended with 13 points and 5 dimes in 28 minutes off the bench. Telfair starting to learn the NBA and he showed he can take and make the big shots. Zach Randolph got 17 points and 8 boards in 44 minutes. Randolph and all the rest of the team are very young and it will take long for them to be good but once they are they will be fantastic. Juan Dixon got 13 points and 1 assist in 36 minutes. Dixon has to be like Sebastian and pass more and then look for your shot. Voshon Lenard got 14 points and 3 steals in 24 minutes. Lenard and 2 other players like Theo Ratliff are the only experienced players they and they have to teach the guys the ropes. Rafer Alston got 5 points and 10 assits in 43 minutes. For someone who complains a lot Alston player solid. Keith Bogans got 20 points and 5 boards in 39 minutes. Bogans was a good pickup from the Bobcats and he can shot jumpers nicely. Yao Ming got 13 points and 7 boards in 31 minutes. Ming didn't dominate like he's been since the All Star break and that might be another reason why they lost.

BULLS COMEBACK WIN!
The Chicago Bulls beat the Pacers and come from 17 down to win 102-96. Ben Gordon hit a few jumpers down the stretch run and willed them to the win. Now if the Bulls can win a big game against the Sixers on the road they can tie the 8th playoff spot in the East. Ben Gordon got 23 points and 3 assists in 24 minutes off the bench. Hard to believe he led in points off the bench but that shows you how comfortable he is off the bench. Andres Nocioni got 14 points and 12 boards in 41 minutes. Nocioni better scrap in the game today playoffs are in the air. Kirk Hinrich got 15 points and 5 boards in 40 minutes. Hinrich plays the game right and I love how he wants to get the rest of the team involved. Stephen Jackson got 22 points and 2 assists in 37 minutes. Jackson was good but he did was look to score he's got to do more than that. Jeff Foster got 10 points and 9 boards in 27 minutes. What luxury to have a great player like Foster that you don't need to run plays for but he gets offense anyway.
GO BULLS!

GATORS WIN IT ALL!
Our Florida Gators beat UCLA 73-57 to win the NCAA championship. This the Gators first and they came a long way to get it. Joakim Noah got 16 points, 6 blocks (new champ. Game record), and 9 boards in 33 minutes on the floor. Noah can do it all and he put on a show for his dad on the big stage. Horford got 14 points and 7 boards in 24 minutes. Horford will be in NBA sooner or later and his toughness is what sets him apart from everyone else. Brewer added 11 points and 7 boards in 37 minutes. Brewer was one of the few players that caught fire and he was good when he kept reaching in and stealing the ball. Lee Humphrey added 15 points and 1 boards in 36 minutes. Humphrey might want to work on adding rebounding to his game because today's NBA guards can get 10+ boards sometimes. Farmar got 18 and 4 assists in 34 minutes. Farmar was great but maybe trIed to do much offense and that might have slowed him down.
GO GATORS!

NETS KEEP ROLLING!
The New Jersey Nets kept there winning streak alive by beating the Miami Heat 90-78. The Nets crept away in the 3rd period when VC got hot they led by as much as 20. Vince Carter ended up with 43 points and 6 assists in 41 minutes. VC hit from downtown a lot and the Nets need to keep this streak going into the playoffs. Jason Kidd got 9 points and 9 assists in 37 minutes. JKidd always doing it all not asking for much what a team leader. Nenad Krstic got 11 points and 8 boards in 37 minutes. Krstic has to keep getting better and learning the NBA.

KG blocks Pietrus, Get that outta here! Posted by Picasa
T-WOLVES WIN IN OVERTIME!
The Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Golden State Warriors 106-104 in overtime. After two free throws the Warriors had a chance to win on a J-Rich three but it fell short. Kevin Garnett got 19 points and 13 boards in 46 minutes. KG had a 30th straight double-double and that's an impressive streak it's just sad to see him on a bad team, I hope he gets help or is at least traded so they don't waste his talent. Mark Blount got 16 points and pulled down 12 boards in 39 minutes. Blount can give some help to Kg but I think give lots of depth would help the most so KG can sit and the don't lose firepower. Marcus Banks got 24 points and 7 assists in 42 minutes. Banks is a great young talent to bring in but the need a starting guard with a few more years and can pass the ball like Brevin Knight. JRich had 33 points and 6 assists in 45 minutes. Richardson has had a let down with injuries to Baron Davis this season but if healthy Golden State can be a strong powerhouse playoff team. Troy Murphy got 13 points and 13 boards in 41 minutes. Murphy does put up good numbers but the Warriors should have pushed and tried to get Ron Artest than Baron Davis or not they would be playoff bound.

CAVS WIN!
Today in an early special game on ESPN the Cleveland Cavs beat the Miami Heat 106-99. Shaq did not play because of a hyperextended left knee. Bron Bron put on a show and did it all with 47 points, 10 assists and 12 boards in 45 minutes. LJ always put on a show playing Miami averaging 39 on them this season and was well past that today. Zydrunas Ilgauskas got 12 points and 7 boards in 28 minutes. Big Z was alright maybe Mike Brown (Cavs coach) wants to rest him for the now clinched playoff berth. Damon Jones got 12 points and 4 assists in 27 minutes off the bench. Jones has got his stroke going and is looking good for the playoffs. DWade got 44 points, 8 boards and 9 assists in 43 minutes. Wade and Bron went at each other in the 4th and for fans it was a fun game to watch. Don't forget to watch the Final Four, tonight Go Gators!
GO CAVS!
LAKERS WIN!
The LA Lakers beat the Seattle Sonics 106-93. The Lakers pulled off a victory on the end of a hard back to back after playing and losing to the Spurs Thursday. The Sonics played a great first half but then the Lakers pulled a 24 points swing. Kobe Bryant had 43 points on 17-38 shooting in 46 minutes. Kobe I know you need to score but 38 shots? 20 in the first half and two off of the same amount in the second. Kobe shot 10 less shots than the rest of the Lakers did. Kwame Brown got 12 points and 13 boards in 32 minutes. Brown played great post defense and did some things that won't show up on the stat sheet. Lamar Odom got 12 points and 10 boards in 38 minutes. Odom still wasn't consistent he should demand the ball more and shot it. Ray Allen got 29 points and 8 boards in 43 minutes. Allen played tough defense and wanted to show Kobe he's better all around. Chris Wilcox got 16 points and 7 boards in 30 minutes. The sonics like Wilcox and I think he's a great fit for the Sonics run and gun offense.
GO LAKERS!
