The Dallas Mavs beat the Suns 95-88 to take a 2-1 series lead. Now the Suns have a must win game on Tuesday at home or they could be done in 5. Dirk Nowitzki got 28 points and 17 boards in 41 minutes. Nowitzki played and hit his first three's of the series. Josh Howard got 22 points and 12 boards in 44 minutes. Howard was the one they tried to stop with Marion but Howard still got his. Jason Terry got 19 points and 2 steals in 39 minutes. Terry was much more aggressive and he will play this way for the rest of the series. Shawn Marion got 10 points and 18 boards in 47 minutes. Marion and Thomas are the only two who really worked the boards hard for the Suns. Tim Thomas got 14 points and 10 boards in 36 minutes. Thomas hit the three but wasn't that affective otherwise. Steve Nash got 21 points and 7 assists in 37 minutes. Nash didn't get his assists because the Suns didn't shot well. Boris Diaw got 20 points and 6 boards in 37 minutes. Diaw was brilliant was his up and under moves but the Mavs will catch on to them in game 4.
