The San Antonio Spurs beat the Dallas Mavericks 98-89. Tony Parker had 23 points and 4 assists in 39 minutes. Parker played great with these two teams all you need is 98 points to win. Tim Duncan had 15 points and 6 boards in 38 minutes. Duncan didn't get his normal double-double but that was obviously enough. Bruce Bowen got 11 points and 8 boards in 39 minutes. Bowen's good defense is something that won't show up on the stat sheet that is a huge reason for the win. Dirk Nowitzki had 23 points and 11 boards in 37 minutes. Dirk played excellent but it just wasn't enough to keep the Spurs away. Josh Howard had 15 points and 3 boards in 33 minutes. Howard is a great young played the Mavs should focus on keeping and developing him so in the future he can be a big star for them.
