The Dallas Mavericks won again this time over the Utah Jazz 90-87. The Jazz closed the 15 point led the Mavs had but it wasn't enough to stop one of the NBA's top teams. Dirk pumped in 34 points and grabbed 9 boards in 42 minutes. Nowitzki played great and had 10+ in the 4th period. Marquis Daniels got 12 points and pulled in 7 boards in 33 minutes. Daniels has been getting more minutes with an injury to another player and he's used them well. Erick Dampier did the little things and had 4 blocks and 8 boards in 29 minutes off the bench. Dampier has done well coming off the bench and his defense has been great. Andrei Kirilenko got 19 points and pulled in 9 boards in 43 minutes. Kirilenko was great and he has to evolve and be a leader for the Jazz. Rookie Deron Willams got 5 points and 5 assists in 34 minutes. Willams needs a full healthy year before he gets a better feel for the NBA game. Carlos Boozer got 10 points and 7 boards in 27 minutes. Boozer should sit the whole season just to try and keep him healthy he's been injured a lot. The Jazz led in key stats like points in the paint and fast break points but it wasn't enough to stop Dallas.
