The LA Lakers beat the Orlando Magic 102-87. The Lakers hurt the hurt the Magic by beating them in assists and rebounds. Kobe Bryant played a team game but still led the Lakers with 28 points and 8 assists in 44 minutes. Kobe did well looking for his team in the first three periods but then totally taking over the stretch of the 4th. Smush Parker had 17 points and 7 assists in 35 minutes. Parker was key and when he sat with foul trouble the Lakers struggled so it showed how important he is. Brian Cook had 12 points and 5 assists in 27 minutes. Cook's stretching of the floor has helped Kobe when goes inside and then looks to Cook who been on fire from the outside. Ronny Turiaf had 10 points and 4 boards in 13 minutes. I want to note that in 7 less minutes than Kwame Brown Ronny tied him for rebounds and was one off what he got on offense. Grant Hill had 23 points and 4 boards in 38 minutes. Hill has comeback and looked great when he's healthy but he's not what the Magic need to keep in the rebuilding process. Darko Milicic had 6 points and 7 boards in 24 minutes. Milicic is a better defender than I thought and he has looked good off the bench.
