The LA Lakers beat the Houston Rockets 89-78. Brian Cook had another tremendous game with 28 points and 10 boards in 42 minutes. Cook has 27 and 28 in the last two games Phil Jackson needs to reward him with that starting spot security that he'll keep starting. Kobe Bryant had 32 points and 9 assists and 6 steals in 45 minutes. Kobe got in the passing tone but didn't get the ball to Odom enough that won't cut it for me or Phil Jackson. I would like to talk about Ronny Turiaf who got his first minutes of NBA action since open heart surgery. It's great to see that he's back on the floor and healthy go Ronny! Yao Ming had 14 points and 13 boards in 34 minutes. Ming is getting the Rockets back in the playoff picture but they will have to work harder than that to make it. Rafer Alston had 16 points and 8 assists in 41 minutes. Alston got the passing going and has to keep it going for them to win.
