The Oklahoma City Hornets beat the LA Lakers 106-90. The Hornets have now taken the Lakers spot at number 7 and the Lakers are now number 8. If your a Laker fan you know the Lakers are missing two key starters and can't win without them. Hope that Odom and Mihm return soon. Chris Paul had 19 points and 13 assists in 36 minutes. Paul gave his regular rookie of the year type numbers and that's all you need to beat a short handed Laker team. P.J. Brown had 13 points and 9 boards in 33 minutes. Brown might get to the playoffs again it would be nice to see that. Desmond Mason had 21 points and 5 boards in 36 minutes. Mason was one of 6 players to get double figures in the game. Kobe Bryant had 35 points and 6 boards in 38 minutes. Kobe is doing his best but has no help only two other Lakers were in double figures. Devean George had 21 points and 4 steals in 29 minutes off the bench. George should be starting instead of Vujacic because he just doesn't have enough skills to play the way Phil Jackson wants him to. Kwame Brown had 7 points and 10 boards in 32 minutes. If he doesn't want to score let Bynum get out there and get some good center production!
