Kobe Bryant LA star will miss two straight games against the Utah Jazz for an elbow to Grizz player Mike Miller. This is crazy who every did this is stupid 2 games! It should be maybe he can play the two games and he doesn't get the $ or 1 game out without pay. Also Kobe should appeal so he can help LA out of a 3 game losing skid.

Swift puts up a shot in the 2nd half. Posted by Picasa
Yes the Hornets beat the Houston Rockets 92-90. Chris Paul had an amazing game with 11 points and 15 assists in 40 minutes. Paul is my pick for rookie of the year right now and playing great but he might not get it because of his team's record. David West scored 15 and got 7 boards in 38 minutes. West is also playing well for a bad team. Stromile Swift came through for the Rockets with 26 points and 13 rebounds in 34 minutes. Swift has to keep this up and work his way to the starting 5. Tracy McGrady scored 38 and got 8 boards in 45 minutes. McGrady has to carry a big load without Yao playing.

Kobe goes for 2 of his 45. Posted by Picasa
The Memphis Grizzlies beat the LA Lakers 100-99 in OT. This was Lakers third straight loss. Mike Miller played great with 14 points and 15 boards in 50 minutes. Miller can rebound well for a guard. Pau Gasol had 24 points and 13 boards in 49 minutes. Pau was right on the money with his consistent double doubles. Damon Stoudamire had 25 points and 9 assists in 43 minutes. Damon is fitting well with the Grizz and is a good point guard for them. Kobe Bryant had 45 points and 7 rebounds in 47 minutes. Bryant needs another scorer like Odom to step up and make big shots. Chris Mihm scored 15 and pulled down 11 boards in 32 minutes. Mihm played well but his backup Kwame Brown didn't even score in 21 minutes.

Kirilenko shots what would be the game winning free throw. Posted by Picasa
The Utah Jazz beat the Grizzlies 105-102 in overtime. Andrei Kirilenko along with a 3 that forced OT had 24 points and 14 boards in 44 minutes. Kirilenko is a great player who should be an All Star. Mehmet Okur had 23 points and 10 boards in 35 minutes. Okur is a player Jerry Sloan is probably proud of. Pau Gasol scored 32 and got 11 boards in 46 minutes on the court. Gasol is skyrocketing his team this year.
The Sonics beat the Boston Celtics 118-111. Ronald Murray had 29 points and 8 assists in 32 minutes. Murray should start if he can score like that. Nick Collison had 16 points and 10 rebounds in 31 minutes. Collison earned to steal the minutes from the starters last night. Ray Allen had 18 points and 7 boards in 42 minutes. Allen for the first time didn't have to score a load of points for his team to win. Paul Pierce went all out with 43 points and 5 assists in 41 minutes. Pierce like a few other players might have been trying to beat Kobe's 62 points. Ricky Davis had 20 points and 7 assists in 45 minutes. Davis had a good sense for playing all the ethics of the game.

The Detroit Pistons beat the Spurs 85-70. Ben Wallace had a double double with 10 points and 21 rebounds in 39 minutes. Big Ben came through for the Pistons today. Chauncey Billups had 20 points and 6 boards in 36 minutes. Billups is All Star this year bet on it. Tim Duncan had 18 points and 11 rebounds in 39 minutes. Duncan had a good game but his team not so much. Tony Parker had 19 points and 4 assists in 39 minutes. Tony and Tim were the only players playing in this game.
The Miami Heat beat the LA Lakers in the big Christmas game 97-92. Shaq and Kobe did not greet each other before the game and when asked about it after the game Shaq was silent. Shaq had 18 points and 17 boards in 34 minutes. Shaq's offensive rebounding was a key for the win. Dwyane Wade had 18 points and 5 assists in 30 minutes. Wade was in foul trouble late and he didn't get to play as much in affect. Lamar Odom had 14 points and 16 rebounds in 44 minutes. Odom played great his was rebounding, scoring and passing well but it wasn't enough. Kobe Bryant had 37 points and 8 rebounds in 44 minutes. Kobe needed to make his free throws and the Lakers would have been neck and neck with the Heat.

Sunday Christmas day ABC has a stupendous doubleheader cooked up for you. First at 12:30 Eastern time or 11:30 Western time the San Antonio Spurs at the Detroit Pistons. Manu Ginobili will miss this game but it will be very competitive and close. Next at 3:00 Eastern or 12:00 Pacific time Shaq and Kobe face off in Miami. Kobe and Shaq will give it all out and we will see who ends up on top.

The LA Lakers beat the Orlando Magic 104-88. Kobe Bryant had 21 points and 9 assists in 39 minutes. Kobe wanted to pass today and did just that. Lamar Odom had 18 points and 8 rebounds in 40 minutes. Odom has to come up with these numbers consistently. All 5 Laker starters were in double figures. Steve Francis had 28 points and 9 assists in 41 minutes. Stevo had a great game but didn't play good enough defense. Dwight Howard played 2 minutes before going down with a sprained ankle and did not return. Grant Hill had 13 points and 8 boards in 36 minutes. Hill is still getting back and will probably be back to 100% percent in the start of 2006.
The New Jersey Nets beat the Miami Heat 95-88. Vince Carter had 51 points and 8 boards in 44 minutes. Carter tried to challenge Kobe's 62 but it was not good enough to compare to it. Jason Kidd had 12 points and 7 rebounds in 37 minutes. Kidd has to improve on his level of play this season. Shaquille O'Neal had 24 points and 14 rebounds in 31 minutes. Shaq is healthy and is putting up good numbers. Antoine Walker had 12 points and 8 rebounds in 23 minutes. Toine is great coming off the bench and is doing well.

The Gallup Talons of the American Basketball Association scored an ABA season high 177 points in a victory over the Hawaii MegaForce 177-111. After one period Gallup had 49 points! At the half the score was 87-55! Coach Clayton Shields said, "I wish some NBA scouts would come to our games and watch these two play - this is what being a point guard is all about. Regardless of which one is on the floor, our offense runs like a well-oiled machine. And they score too." Gallup is now 10-0 and easily going through the season.

The Dallas Mavericks beat the Kings 105-95. Dirk Nowitzki had 37 points and 10 boards in 40 minutes. Nowitzki poured it in after the Kobe storm on Tuesday. Josh Howard had 14 points and 13 rebounds in 47 minutes. Howard is doing it all on both ends of the floor. Devin Harris had 15 points and 4 assists in 33 minutes. Harris should start instead of Adrian Griffin who can't do what Harris can. Peja Stojakovic did not play cause of a lower back problem. Shareef Abdur-Rahim had 13 points and 8 rebounds in 35 minutes. Abdur-Rahim has to step up in Peja's absence. Brad Miller had 11 points and 7 boards in 38 minutes. Miller played well but I've seen better.
Bron Bron takes a tough shot over Luol Deng. Posted by Picasa
The Cleveland Cavs beat the Chicago Bulls 108-100. LeBron James had 37 points and 6 assists in 44 minutes. LJ has 30+ 15 times now this season. Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 25 points and 11 rebounds in 36 minutes. The small front line of the Bulls had no chance to keep Ilgauskas off of the offensive boards. Andres Nocioni had 21 points and 10 rebounds in 36 minutes. Nocioni is a great player who's not afraid to get dirty. Chris Duhon had 10 points and 8 assists in 41 minutes. Chris is a good guard who is unselfish also. Darius Songaila had 14 points and 6 boards in 25 minutes. Darius was a good bench signing over the offseason.

The Florida Pit Bulls have postponed this Friday's game at home against the Mississippi Stingers. The game will be scheduled at a later date. The Pit Bulls also listed player stats on the site so check that out also.
In the ABA the Pittsburgh Xplosion beat the Ohio Aviators 163-116. Darius Mattear a newly added member to Pittsburgh led the way with 28 points and 8 rebounds. Darius played for the Mississippi Stingers last season in the ABA. Armon Gilliam added 23 for the Xplosions 3rd straight win. Jason Cornute got 42 points in the losing effort for the 4-7 Ohio Aviators.

Pau goes to the hole against a Blazer. Posted by Picasa
The Memphis Grizzles beat the Portland Trailblazers 89-79. Pau Gasol had 26 points and 12 rebounds in 39 minutes. Pau has got his team over the hump and probably in the 2nd round of the playoffs. Shane Battier had 15 points and 2 blocks in 40 minutes. Shane can block well for the spot he plays. Lorenzen Wright had 9 points and 11 rebounds in 38 minutes. Wright is good but still needs to develop. Juan Dixon for the Blazers had 17 points and 7 assists in 43 minutes. Juan is a great player but a bad fit for this team. Joel Przybilla had 10 points and 9 rebounds in 29 minutes. Joel is never going to make it big in the NBA.

The Milwaukee Bucks beat the Spurs 109-107 in OT. Bogut scored a game winning shot for the win. T.J. Ford had 15 points and 8 assists in 46 minutes. Ford has to step his play up if the Bucks want to make the playoffs. Michael Redd had 20 points and 8 rebounds in 42 minutes. Redd now is not carrying a huge load now. Mo Williams had 28 points and 5 rebounds in 38 minutes. Mo is a good shooter off the bench. Tim Duncan had 34 points and 13 rebounds in 42 minutes. Tim played great but it was a rare loss. Tony Parker had 2 points and 11 assists in 43 minutes. Parker played well but it was luck for the Bucks.
In a Lakers win against the Dallas Mavericks 112-90 Kobe put on a Kobe show. Kobe Bryant got 62 points a career-high and the 6th highest points scored by a Laker ever. Kobe's getting ready for the stocking stuffer Shaq game on Sunday. No other Lakers were in double figures in this game. Kobe did most of his damage in the 3rd period with 30 and outscored the Mavs 62-61 after the period. Also bench player Laron Profit ruptured his left Achilles tendon in the 4th and may be out for some games. Dirk Nowitzki had 18 points and 11 rebounds in 27 minutes. Dirk's points were good but the bad defense on Kobe made them lose.

Gary Payton had 15 points and 8 assists in 25 minutes. Payton is doing better under Pat Riley. Josh Childress had 14 points and 9 rebounds in 28 minutes. Josh is just going to get better. Marvin Williams had 24 points and 6 boards in 26 minutes. The Heat had 51 rebounds compared to Atlanta's 33.
