SPURS WIN!
The Spurs beat the Lakers 90-84. Manu Ginobili had 22 points and 8 rebounds in 30 minutes. Manu getting 8 boards is key. Tim Duncan had 16 points and 9 rebouds in 37 minutes. Duncan didn't have to get his 10 rebounds cause Manu took away the need for him to do so with his rebounding. Lamar Odom for the Lakers had 27 points and 16 rebounds in 43 minutes. Odom has to carry a normal scoring load like that. Kobe Bryant had 25 points and shot 9-33 from the field in 41 minutes. Kobe is just taking the worst shots and the most shots he's ever taken.

NETS WIN!
The New Jersey Nets beat the LA Lakers 102-96 in overtime. Kobe was hot but the Lakers couldn't stop the Nets in crunch time. Jason Kidd had 35 points, 12 assists and 8 rebounds in 46 minutes. Kidd was 2 rebounds short of a triple double. Nenad Krstic added 20 points and 13 rebounds in 41 minutes. If Krstic can keep up 20 and 10 the Nets would win more games. Kobe Bryant for the Lakers evaporated the defense with 46 points and shot 14-36 from the field. Kobe did do well but 36 shots that's to much. Plus a third of them threes that he only shot 30% on that's terrible. Lamar Odom had only 8 points and 10 rebounds in 47 minutes. Kobe has to let Odom get up more than just 11 shots or else Odom won't play to his potential. Brian Cook had the shot that sent the game into overtime and 14 points and 7 rebounds in 34 minutes. I said it once and again Kwame who is out now will not put the numbers Cook will so do the smart thing and permedently start him!

The Portland Trail Blazers beat the Atlanta Hawks 77-75. The Hawks have now fallen to 2-10 that's just unheard of. Zach Randolph had 24 points and 15 rebounds in 45 minutes. Randolph need's a good backup like a player like Drew Gooden to back him up and get those minutes down. Zaza Pachulia for the Hawks had 15 points and 10 rebounds in 36 minutes. Zaza was a perfect free agent pickup.
GO BLAZERS!
PACERS WIN!
The Indiana Pacers beat the LA Clippers 97-92. This was the Clipps first home loss. Jermaine O'Neal had 16 points and 13 rebounds in 36 minutes. O'Neal's strong 3rd quarter brought the Pacers back from a 7 point halftime deficit. Austin Croshere had a season high 17 points and 8 rebounds in 33 minutes. Croshere was key in the 4th with a three about half way through the 4th and two shots from the line with 4.2 seconds left. Ron Artest had 22 points and snatched 4 steals in 45 minutes. Ron's steals show that he's an all around player. Elton Brand had 22 points and 10 rebounds in 39 minutes. Brand has to play better defense. Chris Kaman had 18 points and 12 rebounds in 35 minutes. Kaman has a soft touch and is a great player.

Morris Peterson had 21 points and 8 rebounds in 35 minutes. Peterson and Bosh are all the Raptors have. Chris Bosh had 21 points and 4 rebounds in 29 minutes. Bosh can't have just 4 rebounds.

Nocioni can play well on both ends. Chris Duhon had 11 points and 6 assists in 42 minutes. Duhon fits fine with the Bulls. Ben Gordon had 18 points and shot 4-8 or 50% from the line. Gordon had a good game but needs to make his free throws. Yao Ming exploded with 30 points and 6 rebounds in 34 minutes. 6 rebounds and your that tall come on Yao. Juwan Howard had 10 points and 12 rebounds in 28 minutes. Howard knows how to grab boards. The Rockets shot about 90% from the line while the Bulls shot about 63%.

Eddie Griffin had 7 points and 12 rebounds in 30 minutes. Griffin is a good bench threat in rebounding. LeBron James was wearing the new Cavs alternate in style with 38 points and 5 rebounds in 44 minutes. James needs more assists and less points. Drew Gooden had 12 points and 12 rebounds in 33 minutes. If Gooden put that up every night that would take pressure off LeBron. The Twolves had 10 more assists than the Cavs.

Rasheed will take and make more threes with the new Coach. Paul Pierce had 28 points and 7 rebounds in 39 minutes. Paul will score a lot this year. Mark Blount had 16 points and 9 rebounds in 34 minutes. Blount needs to keep that 9 to 10 rebounds a night and that will really help the Celtics.

SUNS WIN!
The Phoenix Suns beat the Los Angeles Lakers 122-112. Steve Nash had 12 points and 17 assists in 35 minutes. Nash really has to lead the team without Stoudamire. Kurt Thomas dropped in for 14 points and 9 rebounds in 29 minutes. Thomas needs to rebound well while Amare is out. Shawn Marion had 30 points and 11 rebounds in 41 minutes. Marion has to play a lot and score a lot for this team to win. Lamar Odom had a glorious night with 23 points, 8 assists and a wapping 16 rebounds in 43 minutes. I think Odom may be getting setteled into the triangle. Kobe Bryant had 39 points and 7 rebounds in 41 minutes. Koe has 33 and 39 points in the first two games. I'm thinking scoring title! Smush Parker had 21 points and 4 steals in 37 minutes. Smush is doing great from downtown for the Lakers.

CLIPPERS WIN?
In what I call a surprise win the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Seattle Supersonics 101-93. Sam Cassell had 35 points and 11 assists in 41 minutes. Brand will always have a good night ethier rebounding or scoring. James Singleton had 14 points and 10 rebounds in 25 minutes. Ray Allen had 31 points and shoot 5-10 from downtown in 40 minutes. GO CLIPPERS!
CAVS WIN!
Last night the Clevland Cavaliers beat the Oklahoma City Hornets 109-87. LeBron James droped 31 points and shoot 6-7 for downtown and played 34 minutes. LeBron sent a scary statement last night he can shoot now and that's coming to a Cavs offense near you. Donyell Marshall added 18 points and 9 rebounds in 23 minutes. He will be a nice strech of the D of the bench for this team. Larry Hughes had 10 points and 6 assists in 31 minutes. J.R. Smith for the Hornets had 15 points and 4 assists in 24 minutes. The development of J.R. is making the Hornets present and future look very bright. Chris Paul had 13 points and 5 rebounds in 29 minutes. He is very important for the Hornets to put another great point guard after the trade of Baron Davis last season. Speedy Claxton had 16 poits and shoot 50% from the field in 25 minutes. Even though the Cavs won they had 4 more turnovers than the Hornets.

NBA SEASON OPENS TONIGHT!
The NBA season opens tonight on TNT with the Nuggets at the champion San Antonio Spurs at 7:00 eastern time. This game will be down to the wire or a blowout I like the Spurs to win though. The second game features the Dallas Mavericks at the unimproved Phoenix Suns at 10:30 eastern time. Dallas will easily blow by the Suns because without Amare Dirk's game will be a lot easer. Also if you have NBA league pass you can see the Milwaukee Bucks at the 76ers at 7:00 eastern time. This will maybe go to OT both teams vastly improved. The second game you would be able to see with league pass is the Sacramento Kings at the Oklahoma City Hornets at 8:00 eastern time. I like the Kings but want to hear about how Chris Paul did.
YA THE SEASON!
WOLVES WAVE!
The Minnesota Timberwolves waved first round pick Ndudi Ebi. The 21 year old didn't want to be signed to the D-League so the Wolves made a good choice to wave him.
GOOD CHOICE!
