McKIE A LAKER!
Today the Lakers and Aaron Mckie have agreed to a 2 year $5 million dollar deal. This was a fantastic move the Lakers got a good experienced guard.
welcome all welcome!

SUNS LAND GRANT AND DALLAS FREES FINLEY!
One of the first players to be waived will be signed by the Suns for an unfair bargain of 1.67 for 2 years and the Lakers will pay him more than the Suns will! The Suns got very lucky to get him at this price. In other news the Mavs waived Michel Finley this was a very good move. The Mavs will get Doug Christie for a better price anyway. There will be more big signings like Van Exel and Finley of course.

Today was the final day to waive those big contract players and some said goodbye. The Bucks waived Calvin Booth, this was a great move it saves money and they just got a new big man in the draft so it also made sense. The Nets waived Ron Mercer, again this was another great move because the nets can use the money for good free agents like maybe Derek Anderson. Last but not least the Knicks waived Jerome Williams but not Allan Houston this was a good move because they have too many big contracts. The one player who will probly by waived today from the Mavs might be waived late tonight or maybe traded.

76ERS SAY GOODBYE TO MCKIE!
The 76ers waived Aaron McKie Friday and picked up Steven Hunter. This was a great move by the 76ers they got younger and more money. Getting Hunter was a result of the Mark Jackson to the Nets trade. Mckie might find a new team but they won't pay or play him as much.

The Kings signed Shareef Abdur-Rahim to a multi year deal today. The Kings now finally have a good replacement for Chris Webber. Now the Kings roster looks very good they Bibby, Bozi, Miller and now Abdur-Rahim.
CLIPPS GET SAM
The Clippers got Sam Cassell and a lottery projected draft pick and sent Marko Jaric and Lionel Chalmers to the Twolves. This was bad deal for the Clipps for the present because all they did was get older trade away they good promising young guards but if the draft pick is in the lottery than the deal will be good. The Twolves got and okay deal I think they should get one player because gave up a projected lottery pick.
ARE THE CLIPPS BETTER?

The Portland Trail Blazers waived guards Derek Anderson and Nick Van Exel. This is a result of the new luxury tax rule. I like the move by Portland they need some money to work with. The Mavs, Rockets, Spurs and the Heat are among the teams trying to get Van Exel. I would like to see Derek Anderson slide over to the Lakers it would fit the hole in the guard spot. Van Exel should go to the Rockets so he can get playing time.
NICE SAVING OF MONEY!
In the biggest trade in NBA history the Heat got Antoine Walker from the Celts, Jason Williams, James Posey and Andre Emmett from the Grizz plus the Heat got the draft rights to Roberto Duanes from the Hornets. The Jazz got Greg Ostertag from the Grizz. The Hornets got Rasual Butler from the Heat and Kirk Snyder from the Jazz. The Grizz got Eddie Jones and Raul Lopez. Boston got Qyntel Woods two draft picks, draft right to Albert Miralles and Curtis Borchardt. This was a great deal for the Heat not a good deal for the other teams because they didn't get enough.
WALKER TO HEAT!

Today free agents could be signed and trades could be made and there was lots of activity. Let's start with free agents. Antonio Daniels got his deal done with the Wizards. This was a great move after losing Larry Hughes. The champion Spurs re sign Robert Horry and Fabricio Oberto. It's good that the Spurs don't have to look for a replacement to the big hole that would be there if he left. The Cavs signed Larry Hughes and Donyell Marshall. They also re signed Zydrunas Ilgauskas. The Cavs had a lot of money to spend so this might finally put them in the playoffs. The 76ers re signed Samuel Dalembert and Kyle Korver. The Sixers need them to survive as I predicted. The Knicks signed Jerome James. This was a good move but the Knicks need to get control over their money problems. The Hornets got Boston Nachbar back and signed Arvydas Macijauskas. The Rockets signed Stromile Swift. This was a very good move and Swift has a great future coming. The Heat re signed Shaq after he opted out of his old deal and signed a new contract for 5 years $100 million. They also re signed Udonis Haslem. This was, of course, going to happen. Pat Riley wouldn't let this go on under his nose. The Celtics signed Brian Scalabrine. It was a good move by the Celts. Brian will be pretty good but he still needs time.
That's all for free agents now to those hot fresh trades. The Kings got Jason Hart for a 2007 draft pick. This was a kinda good move because the Bobcats would be packed at point guard. The Bobcats got Jake Voskuhl for a 2007 draft pick. It was a good move for the Bobcats getting a new big man. The Lakers got Kwame Brown and Laron Profit for Caron Butler and Chucky Atckins. T his was not a very good move for the Lakers but they do need a big man. Last but not least Bonzi is a King and Bobby Jackson to the Grizz. One deal that was going to be done didn't happen. The Suns sign and trade with the Hawks.
GOOD LUCK WITH NEW TEAMS!
